This video is a summary of Joshua Brickman's talk at the 13th International Common Criteria Conference in Paris in September 2012. The Enterprise Security Management Protection Profile Technical community is comprised of many of the top providers of security solutions in the world, including Microsoft, IBM, EMC/RSA, Oracle and CA Technologies. In this community report, co-chair Joshua Brickman from CA Technologies provided an update on the multi-year project to create a family of mutually recognized protection profiles. ESM includes products that provide Access Control, Policy Management, Identity Management, Authentication Management, Secure Configuration Management, and Audit Management. In this update Mr. Brickman also shared lessons learned, differences between a custom Security Target and a Protection Profile evaluation . Finally Mr. Brickman shared tips and strategies for starting new communities based on the ESM experience.
